The novel is fine, so I'd suggest reading it to listening to it. She is a woman dragon she shouldn't talk like a friggin chain smoking 60-year old man! I know it's trying to voice a different race than humans, but it didn't work for me. Can anybody tell that i'm a student by how I write? There's character there, the character of Aslan in the Chronicals and basically all the characters in LOTR are great and that's what makes you want Frodo to win so badly, not because Sauron is so evil, but because Frodo is so great.
